L'Oreal Lumi Magique

L'Oreal Lumi Magique Liquid Foundation ($20.99 BIG W)

Gold Linen W3

I don't care what anyone says. I love drugstore make up. Most of the drugstore products I pick up and purchase is the ones I hear great reviews about or just simply catches my eye. Some I regret buying and well some are just great! And they do what they say it would do. They're cheap, some with great packaging and the quality of the products I purchase is just nearly as good or even better then the high end products. Everyone loves dupes and great quality make up for cheap. Right?
I'm starting to wear more light foundations that give a nice natural glow but I haven't found the perfect one. Rimmel Illuminating Anti-Fatigue didn't sit well with me. I had bad reactions from it and it literally made me feel like I had glitters on my face! Don't even get me started on the Maybelline Fit Me Foundation. I was so dissapointed!!
But the LLMF is now one of my favourite day foundation.

The Lumi Magique has a liquid light technology that infuses skin with a ray of light, illuminating your complexion as if lit-from-within. The radiance from your skin seems recreated, perfect coverage without masking. - L'Oreal

PROS: Gives a natural subtle glow without making you look greasy, consistency is light and it blends in smoothly. Coverage is medium but buidable. A little goes a long way. Just 2 pumps and my whole face is covered evenly with the coverage I want. I like the glass packaging and the hygenic pump.

CONS: Set with powder because it does wear off between 6-8 hrs. This is the closest shade for my skin tone (if you're wondering, i'm NC20 in winter and NC30 in summer) but because it's been very cold here in Australia, i've gone white again so this colour is a bit too yellow/gold for me. (I just blend it with a lighter foundation and it's a perfect match)

Overall it's a great foundation that feels very light but isn't light coverage. Which is great. It doesn't make you look like you have foundation on but make you look like you have natural luminous, glowing beautiful skin. I definately would reccomend this and I would definately purchase this again

Urban Decay Primer Potion

Urban Decay Primer Potion (Original) 11ml

The UD Primer Potion is its #1 best seller and I can definately see why! I have very oily lids and my eyeshadow creases drastically as soon as i'm on the move. I've been on the hunt for the most perfect eyeshadow base and this is it! I've found it. My go to primer was the Too Faced Shadow Insurance or the Laura Mercier Eye Basics. The staying power for the both was incredible just like The UD Potion but it did tend to crease just a tad bit, especially just below my eye so that my eyeline would'nt smudge. But it did :(
The primer potion on the other hand?! Everything stayed put. Even the eyeliner!! No matter how many hours have elapsed.. my eyeshadow still looked vibrant at 3 am after I left the club.

PROS: Long lasting, eyeshadow appears more vibrant and brings out the pigment of the eyeshadow (especially shimmers and metallics!), better packaging then the original genie bottle(more hygenic), keeps its promise which is absoloutely NO creasing!! AND 10% more potion!!!

CONS: Nothing at all. Except it is a bit pricey and UD doesn't stock in AUS :(

P.S UDPP in Eden and Greed is on my to buy list now.

Urban Decay Naked Palette 2

UD NAKED PALETTE 2

I'm just  head over heels over this palette. Don't get me wrong, I still love the Naked but I am IN love with the Naked 2! I use every colour on this (original as well) but I prefer the colours on this more. I love shades Chopper, Pistol, YKD and Blackout. You can achieve so many looks with this palette. What ever you like... smokey, neutral or just a glamorous look. The colours and quality of this product is just simply AMAZING! (Apparently the shades in the Naked 2 are in UD's new formula, which is said to be more smoother and have less fall out then the original).

From left: Foxy, Half Baked, Booty Call, Chopper, Tease, Snake Bite

From left: Suspect, Pistol, Verve, YDK, Busted, Blackout

PROS: The tin packaging is much more better then the original. I feel that the shadows are more protected in the tin then the normal packaging so I don't have to be extra careful when handling it. The shadows are smooth and velvety. This product is versatile and has great pigments. It has shimmer, metallic and mattes shades.  The shadows are long lasting especially when applied over UD Primer.  It is similar to the original but Naked 2 is more of a cool toned palette where as the Naked in more warm.

CONS: - NADAAAA

Urban Decay Naked Palette

Urban Decay Naked Palette

I love this palette. I love the colour range and how versatile it is. It has all the colours you need for an everyday look or just simply dress it up with the darker shades for a smokey eye and a night out with the girls!

From left: Virgin, Sin, Naked, Sidecar, Buck, Half Baked, Smog, Darkhorse, Toasted, Hustle, Creep, Gunmetal

PROS: Versatile product, highly rich and pigmented, creamy, velvety and the colours are just amazing for every skin tone. I also love the suede packaging and the little gifts that comes with!

CONS: NOTHING! Worth every penny. A must have for all girls out there!

Yves Saint Laurent - Touche Eclat (Radiant Touch)

Yves Saint Laurent - Touche Eclat (Radiant Touch)

Shade #1 - $35(Chemist Warehouse)

All I can say is that this is the best highlighter in the market! YSL is just true to their words on this magic wand!

PROS: The formula is very light, glides on effortlessly and doesn't cake. This product no matter where you apply it where it'll be under your eyes, brow bone, cheekbones or just on the bridge of your nose, just gives you a natural glow throughout the day withought you looking like you're a vampire from Twilight that has stepped into the light.

CONS: Like most YSL products it's the $$$$. But i'm willing to fork out money for this product in an instant

YSL Rouge Pur Couture Glossy Stain

YSL Rouge Pur Couture Glossy Stain $50AUD

#18 Rose Pastelle

(Bottom 1 coat, Top 2 coats)

PROS: Glossy/Stain (Lipstick and lipgloss all in one!!) Buildable colour, a lot of beautiful shades to choose from, average lasting, very pigmented and the applicator (tear drop like wand is flexible and great for a precise application. Packaging is as always impeccable

CONS: Feels a bit sticky and really heavy. It does dry out my lips and shows my cracked lips more even after exfoiliating and priming them.

I heard that different shades have different textures. So i'm not giving up on them just yet! I shall give them another go! I want to try another shade. #10 and #14 looks great

YSL Rouge Pur Couture

YSL Rouge Pur Couture

Shade #110 Fuschsa Symbole $55AUD

                                                                      (with 2 coats)

The most moisurising lipstick I owe. And I own a lot of lipsticks.
I love the colour, especially on my fair skin. It stands out a lot!

PROS: Silky smooth, very moisturising, great staying power, pleasant smell (but dissapears minutes after applying it on.) It's very light and like all YSL lipsticks, the packagaing is just so beautiful and luxurious.

CONS: $$$$ (but so worth it), You do need to apply around 2-3 coats to get the colour because the 1st application is very sheer. The packaging is the usual but this one tends to dull out? The gold tends to fade pretty fast
